Company History
Muncie
Novelty was founded by Ted Broyles, the grandfather of current president
David Broyles and vice president Megan Jones, in 1937 in downtown
Muncie, Indiana. With his practical business sense and dedication
to serving his customers, Ted found success in the production of
jar tickets for gaming.
As
Ted's son Bob began to take a more active role in the company in
the late 1960s, expansion was on the horizon. Soon, the operation
relocated to the outskirts of the city, and investments were made
in new equipment to further expand the product line to include break-opens
and roll tickets. To accommodate this growth, sister company Indiana
Ticket was founded.
In
the late 1980s, as demand for new product again presented a great
opportunity, David hit the road, making personal calls to locations
all across the east and midwest. His efforts were certainly warranted,
and as the demand for redemption tickets increased, so, too, did
his family's company.
Today,
with three generations of history as a guide, Muncie Novelty and
Indiana Ticket continue to honor and embrace Ted's original commitment--one
of steadfast dedication to respect his customers and always serve
them well.
